Empowering Children With Sustainable Brown Dolls At Wild Life Society – Creating an Inclusive society for our future.
We encounter racial biases in numerous aspects of society, including children’s toys. Fostering diversity and inclusivity in dolls and toys will contribute to a more inclusive and welcoming society in which people and children will have empathy and understanding for one another.
In April 2020, during the height of the pandemic, life seemed uncertain and overwhelming. While balancing the responsibilities of parenthood and the challenges of the world around us, I found myself searching for something positive to hold onto. It was during this time that the idea for Wild Little Society was born.
As a certified Image consultant, I drew upon my background to create a toy that would not only provide representation for children of various skin tones, but also empower them through the power of affirmations. And thus, Wild Little Society came into existence with a mission: to show children Every Shade of Brown Deserves A Crown.
After dedicating a year and a half to this vision, I am proud to hold in my hands a product on par with international brands. The dolls of Wild Little Society are carefully crafted with meticulous attention to detail. They come in two shades of brown, are filled with recycled plastic bottle fiber, and are made from organic linen cotton. The arms are attached with coconut shell buttons, and their hair is crafted from wool. Each doll has an embroidered heart on its chest and a comfortable undergarment.
Collaborating with a female entrepreneur and an all-women team, it was crucial to me that every doll represented a global Indian child and exuded confidence, happiness, and innocence. They are proudly Made In India.

Today, as I reflect on my journey, I am filled with a deep sense of purpose. The mission of Wild Little Society to change the narrative surrounding being brown and proud fills me with happiness and contentment.
Wild Little Society is more than just a brand; it is a symbol of hope, inclusivity, and sustainability. By providing children with dolls that reflect their own unique beauty and teaching them the importance of self-affirmation, we aim to empower the next generation. We believe that every child deserves to feel seen, represented, and valued.
